  I had visited 5 different jewelers when looking for an engagement ring. I didn't have much luck until I went to J Kamin. I found a picture online of a ring I wanted to replicate and brought it in to Jay. I had a really short timeline, but he was able to get it custom built and in my hands within a week. She loved the ring and we're very happy with the purchase. Ever since my initial visit, Jay has greeted me by name as I come into the store. That kind of service and caring really stands out to me.

  I have a very nice watch that has great sentimental value to me that had a small screw come loose inside the watch. No other local jewelers would attempt to even try to help me get it fixed. I brought the the watch to Jay Kamin at his small (but very nice) shop just off of Mulford road and he was able to have the watch fixed for a very reasonable cost. It now works fine and I must say I'm very impressed with his professionalism and how he operates his establishment. I would recommend J.Kamin Jewelers to anyone who wants a watch repaired or is looking for some very nice new watches. This place is the probably one of the last Jewelers in Rockford that actually cares about their customers and does everything they can to help.
